UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENT

The December meeting will be an INVITATION event. Those students and alumni who have worked to further their knowledge of the IT world and professionalism skills by attending multiple Alumni Association events will be invited to network with the Twin Cities most active IT agencies, professionals, and business representatives. The November 29 event will be held at Metropolitan State University.

LinkedIn has a default setting that allows them to use your picture and name in advertising.

Here’s how to manually turn it off with this LinkedIn privacy tip:
1) Click on your name on your LinkedIn homepage. (upper right corner of the page.)
2) On the drop-down menu, select “Settings”.
3) From the Settings page, click “Account”.
4) In the column next to Account, click “Manage Social Advertising” . (Lower left of page)
5) De-select the box next to “LinkedIn may use my name, photo in social advertising.”
